Analog Discovery 2 (AD2)
The Analog Discovery 2 is a multi-functional device containing an oscilloscope and logic analyzer ideal for taking measurements and controlling multi-mixed-signal circuits. It can be useful in nearly all BE lab courses as it features a two-channel USB digital oscilloscope, a two-channel arbitrary waveform generator, a 16-channel digital logic analyzer, a two-channel voltmeter, two programmable power supplies, and much more!
Fees
Rental Fee: $35 per quarter
Late Fee: $30 plus $1 day (including holidays, weekends, etc.)(five-day grace period)
Replacement costs: Greater than $300 in addition to any other rental and late fees.

Basys 3 FPGA Boards
The Basys3 FPGA Board is a digital circuit development board based on the latest Artix Field Programmable Base Array (FPGA) from Xilinx. CSE100L uses this board extensively throughout the quarter. Depending on the project focus, it is also utilized in the senior design groups CSE123/ECE129.

PIC32MX Microcontrollers
Our microcontrollers for rent are the PIC32MX series made by Microchip Technology. Courses that use one of these boards include CSE013E, ECE118L, ECE121L, and ECE167L. Depending on the project focus, they are also utilized in the senior design groups CSE123/ECE129.
Students who rent a kit from BELS must return the kit in good working condition to BELS in Baskin Engineering Room 40 or Room 66 no later than the end of finals week. See the return due dates below.

The Raspberry Pi kit contains several components in addition to the Raspberry Pi. These include a case, power supply, SD card, etc.
Students who rent a kit from BELS must return the kit in good working condition to BELS in Baskin Engineering Room 40 or Room 66 no later than the end of finals week.

Laptops and More!!
BELS has Dell Latitude 7480s available for rent. Laptops are primarily used by students who require a portable computer that can run software such as Cadence, LabVIEW, Solidworks, and Matlab. The rental fee is $75 per quarter.
Students who check out a laptop from BELS must return the laptop in good working condition to BELS in Baskin Engineering Room 40 or Room 66 no later than the end of finals week. Optionally, you can reply to your ticket that you would like to extend your rental for another quarter. Students who fail to return the laptop or contact us to extend their rental by the due date will be billed a late fee of $2 per day until the laptop is returned.

Late Fee: $30 plus $2 day (including holidays, weekends, etc.)(five-day grace period)
Replacement costs: More than you want to know.

Test and Measurement Equipment
BELS has a variety of test measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and radiofrequency function generators. The test equipment is available in BELS labs and can be rented to research groups on campus.
